Deploy Pro Panic Button

Safety is the number one concern.  Deploy Pro includes a panic button that gives its users a beacon in case of an emergency.  When activating the panic button, the app will countdown from 10 to zero.  When finished, it will raise your phone's volume to full and emit a tornado siren type sound and also flash the phone's camera light like a strobe light.  In the future, we are also looking for this feature to add a way point on the map at your location.

This function is activated by tapping on the red "Panic" button that is available in the top right corner of every screen in the app.

Email address (required, but not shown on map)

Deploy Pro Map Waypoints

Deploy Pro gives users the ability to set way points on a map that are shared with other users.  You set way points by tapping on the way point button and then tapping on the screen where you want it to appear.  This opens the way point dialog box.  Simply select the icon you wish to use, type in any description you want to attach, and hit save.  Your way point will appear on the screen in the desired location.  Other users simply need to hit refresh on their map for the icon to appear on their phone.

In the first version, there are 6 icon options to choose from:

Auto Accident (orange with car icon)
Command Location (black with star icon)
Fire (green with fire icon)
Miscellaneous (red with white x)
Power Line Down (yellow with lighting icon)
Victim Location (white with red cross)

Deploy Pro also allows users to delete way points when they are no longer needed.  Simply tap on an icon that you set and hit the delete button.  To keep the app operating at top performance, they will automatically be deleted in 72 hours if they are not deleted by the user.

Emergency Responder App GPS Locations

Deploy Pro's main function is the map feature that allows emergency responders to see where other members of their team are.  Using color coded pins, the locations of all users are easily identified on the map while they are deployed in the field.  The user's locations are updated every 2 minutes.  This was done to reduce battery wear, but at the same time provide current information.

Deploy Pro Note Pad

Deploy Pro includes a basic note pad to keep track of any information you deem relevant.  This function allows you to create, edit, and delete notes.  Like the Deploy Pro triage counter, the information can be sent to a recipients(s) via SMS or email.  Some phones may already have a note pad, but one of the goals when creating Deploy Pro was to give the user the ability to have many functions within the app, so they wouldn't have to switch apps.

A new emergency responder app for CERT teams and more.

Deploy Pro is a native iPhone and Android app designed to be used as a tool by emergency responders when deployed in the field.  Combined with feedback from various emergency management organizations, as well as my own experience with CERT, the app was built to help overcome some of the common problems we have during an event.
